Full-Arch & Full-Mouth Reconstruction in Buffalo
You want to enjoy your smile again. Start with a plan for the whole picture.
Maybe you miss smiling freely in photographs. Maybe several teeth need attention, your old dental work no longer feels like you, or you want to understand your choices beyond another isolated repair. Start with what you would like to change. You do not need to arrive knowing the name of a procedure.
At Concierge Dental Group, we plan the whole smile before choosing the procedures. We use 3D imaging to evaluate teeth and supporting bone, then discuss tooth-based restoration, implant-supported replacement or a combination. Our planning tools include virtual smile evaluations and 3D-printed temporaries. Full-mouth reconstruction does not automatically mean removing every tooth.
Two different paths toward a whole-smile plan
Rebuild around natural teeth
We first evaluate which natural teeth can support the finished smile. CDG offers bonding, veneers and crowns, so rebuilding a smile can involve restoring teeth you already have. We explain which teeth need structural repair, which changes are cosmetic, and how those choices work together in the proposed design.
Bring questions about shape, color and how your teeth meet. Explore our cosmetic dentistry information for related smile concerns.
Replace a full arch with implant support
An arch is the upper or lower row of teeth. When a row needs replacement, several dental implants can support a connected set of replacement teeth. This differs from restoring individual natural teeth and requires a separate discussion about surgery, healing and ongoing care.
CDG provides implant-supported replacement as well as removable dentures. We explain whether your recommended teeth stay fixed or come out for cleaning, and why that design fits your mouth. Our dental implant overview explains the broader category.
Where does All-on-4 fit?
All-on-4 is one full-arch treatment concept that uses four implants to support a fixed set of replacement teeth. It is one possible approach, not another name for every full-mouth reconstruction. The number and placement of implants depend on the clinical plan.
At CDG, the scan and examination guide the recommendation, rather than starting with a fixed implant count. We explain the proposed support for your new teeth and the temporary-to-final sequence. An All-on-4-style plan is one concept to discuss, not a promise that four implants suit every patient.
How we plan your reconstruction at CDG
Begin with your priorities: smiling, eating, replacing missing teeth, or understanding why previous dental work needs attention. Write down the one change that matters most and the part of treatment that worries you. Those are useful starting points for the visit.
- Examine and image. We review your health history, examine your mouth and use 3D imaging to understand the teeth and bone before planning reconstruction.
- Plan and preview. We use intraoral images and virtual planning to discuss the proposed smile. The preview helps explain the design; it does not promise an identical result.
- Explain the recommendation and price. Your doctor explains the clinical plan. Your treatment coordinator goes through the written costs, payment options and appointment sequence.
- Coordinate treatment and follow-up. For an implant-supported full arch, our team coordinates the surgical and anesthesia evaluation, temporary teeth and healing checks. The temporary and final restorations are separate stages.

Leave room for healing and everyday care
For suitable full-arch implant cases, our goal is a fixed temporary set of teeth within 24 hours of surgery. Your treating team confirms whether that is appropriate for you. Those are healing teeth, not the final restoration: implant healing can take several months, and we assess progress before moving to the final stage.
Implants also carry risks, including infection, injury to nearby structures and failure to integrate with bone. Your health and smoking history can affect healing. Ask how the benefits and risks apply to you, and what support is available if a complication occurs.
CDG’s full-arch pathway includes post-operative instructions, a follow-up call and scheduled healing checks. We explain cleaning around the temporary teeth and eating restrictions for your stage of treatment. Long-term maintenance remains part of the plan after the final teeth are fitted.
Your questions about full-arch care at CDG
Is full-mouth reconstruction the same as full-arch implants?
No. At CDG, reconstruction can mean rebuilding your natural teeth with crowns, veneers or bonding, replacing teeth with implants, or combining treatments. We use your examination and 3D images to recommend the route. A full-arch implant restoration replaces one upper or lower row of teeth.
Will all my teeth need to be removed?
Not automatically. We evaluate your existing teeth before recommending removal. Because CDG offers tooth-based restorations as well as implants, we can explain which teeth can be restored and where replacement is recommended. Your plan identifies the proposed work rather than treating every smile as an extraction case.
How does CDG determine whether implants are an option?
We review your dental and medical history, examine your mouth and assess the supporting bone with 3D imaging. For full-arch surgery, our process also includes coordination with the surgical and anesthesia team. The recommendation reflects your health and the support available for the proposed teeth.
Can I have replacement teeth on the day of surgery?
For suitable full-arch implant cases, CDG’s goal is fixed temporary teeth within 24 hours. The treating team confirms whether your case can follow that pathway. Temporary teeth give you a restoration during healing; they are not the final set, and your plan includes the later design and delivery stages.
What does CDG do during recovery?
We provide post-operative instructions, arrange healing checks and make a follow-up call. Your instructions cover care at home and restrictions during healing. Keep us informed about discomfort or a change in how the temporary teeth feel so the team can assess it.
How will CDG explain the cost?
Your doctor develops the clinical recommendation, then your treatment coordinator explains the written price. For a full-arch implant case, that discussion covers the procedure, anesthesia and any extractions or grafting in the plan, along with payment options. We explain the proposed costs before you commit to treatment.
Do implant-supported teeth still need maintenance?
Yes. Our work continues beyond fitting the teeth: we explain home care and arrange follow-up. Cleaning around the implants and checking the restoration remain important. Replacement teeth and components can need attention over time; they are not maintenance-free.
