Bone Loss
I often hear this a lot: “I don’t think I have enough bone to be able to have dental implants done”. But with new technology, we can often overcome this. You see, there are all kinds of dental implant shapes and sizes that can help you to have dental implants done. But you need to understand that just because you’ve been told in the past that you don’t qualify for dental implants, that may not be true today.
Be sure that you investigate that side of things in our office. At Concierge Dental Group we can take 3D x-rays of your mouth. We also have all different shapes and sizes of implants in our offices that we can use. I had a patient once come in and they had broken a tooth, and they had a wedding the next day, and the only way to fix this was to use a dental implant. We had to remove the tooth, put a dental implant in, and put a temporary tooth on the exact same day, and they were able to go to the wedding that next day.
You have no idea about how far technology has come. So, one of the most important things is don’t dismiss dental implants because you heard many years ago, or even from a different provider in the area or the industry, that you might not qualify due to bone loss.
Let us take a look and investigate that for you.
