Same Day Implants

Did you know that it’s possible, on some occasions, to do teeth the same day? We are able to leverage dental implants to replace bad or missing teeth that you have, oftentimes, in the same day. Sometimes we’ll give you a temporary tooth that same day, and sometimes we’ll be able to have something that is essentially a finished product right at the same moment as we use dental implants. 

I don’t think a lot of patients know that, and that’s something that you should consider before making a decision about having dental implants done. 

Let me take you through the process of having a dental implant completed after you come in for your consultation. We’ll take a 3D x-ray, evaluate the site, and we can place an implant the very next visit.  

An implant is a small metal screw that we can use to attach a tooth to. There’s the body of the implant and then there’s the tooth part. Those get connected in a mechanical connection. When you put the implant in, you can have a tooth pre-made, or you can have the tooth manufactured, which in some cases may only take a week or so. So, you can have the procedure completed quickly. 

On the other hand, there’s certain situations where it may take a little bit longer to accomplish that. Some patients might even need bone grafting. One of the things that we do at Concierge Dental Group, is really encourage patients to come in for an initial free consultation for dental implant care at any time, and I’ve never changed that for over 20 years of practice.
