Getting Implants: Step 4

Okay, so you’ve had the procedure done, and now you’re in the healing phase. After we do this work, the gums will swell a little, and then they’ll shrink up. The implants will need some time to heal into the bone. That’s natural, and we want to make sure that you know that we’re there for you if you have any questions. 

Some patients need little adjustments here and there. Some people need to have their teeth refit. All of that is included in our process. So, if you need anything, we’re always there for you. After about three months of healing, that’s when we’ll take our final records. We call that our smile design visit, and at your smile design visit, you should come in with an idea about where you want to go. 

And don’t worry, I’ll help to guide you as well. We get to pick the right color, shape, size, and, of course, the right position of these teeth so that they will not only function well but also look amazing.
